Visiting Professor

2020-2021 Fulbright Scholarship , Visiting Scholar, research on Ancient Dramatic Chorus στο Department of Classics, Columbia University, New York City, USA. The Program in Hellenic Studies

2017 Visiting professor: Lecturer at the Department of Theatre, Michigan State University, USA, 12th March to 25th March, on the theory and practice of Ancient Dramatic Chorus, to the Classical acting students (for undergraduates 16 hours and for graduates 12 hours). Most important, I had to put that theory into practice with final presentations of the work she had done with our students. I also taught the Musical Theatre undergraduate course (for 4 hours) on the theme “Variations on Dance Stylistic Features According to Different Styles of Music.” including final presentation of the practical work. I also taught improvisation and choreography to the dance minor undergraduates (for 4 hours). In all interactions with our faculty across undergraduate, graduate and in theatre, dance and musical theatre courses everyone was highly complementary of the work and knowledge she shared. I gave a Master class within a community dance organization named Happendance (including observers from their professional company). This was a free opportunity to the community, on “Elements of Improvisation based on Laban Principles” to create a duet with dancers of various ages and levels of expertise.

2014 Sabbatical at University of Surrey, Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences, School of Arts, του BA Dance & Culture Programme, 15th February to 14th July, 2014. I taught the following subjects “Introducing choreography”, “Movement Analysis I” (BA course, first years), “Laban Movement Analysis and Notation”, “Historical Perspectives” (BA course, second years) και “Creative Collaboration” (BA course, third years from the “Dance department” and “Film Studies” και “Theater Studies”. Teaching at Guildford School of Acting (GSA), project “The Greeks”, Greek Chorus. Research presentation titled ‘Does dance matter?’ Relevance of dance technique in Drama Studies”, 21st May 2014, Room 29 Building AP Floor 02, University of Surrey, Guildford. The work has been published in Research in Dance Education. Routledge, Taylor & Francis, UK, 17, 3, Dec. 2016, pp. 204-217.

2004 –present Lecturer at the National Technical University of Athens, School of Architecture, MA course, on “Body in the Space: Contemporary Choreographic Approaches”.
