2020-2021 Fulbright Scholarship , Visiting Scholar, research on Ancient Dramatic Chorus \u03c3\u03c4\u03bf Department of Classics, Columbia University, New York City, USA. The Program in Hellenic Studies<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2017 Visiting professor: Lecturer at the Department of Theatre, Michigan State University, USA, 12th March to 25th March, on the theory and practice of Ancient Dramatic Chorus, to the Classical acting students (for undergraduates 16 hours and for graduates 12 hours). Most important, I had to put that theory into practice with final presentations of the work she had done with our students. I also taught the Musical Theatre undergraduate course (for 4 hours) on the theme \u201cVariations on Dance Stylistic Features According to Different Styles of Music.\u201d including final presentation of the practical work. I also taught improvisation and choreography to the dance minor undergraduates (for 4 hours). In all interactions with our faculty across undergraduate, graduate and in theatre, dance and musical theatre courses everyone was highly complementary of the work and knowledge she shared. I gave a Master class within a community dance organization named Happendance (including observers from their professional company). This was a free opportunity to the community, on \u201cElements of Improvisation based on Laban Principles\u201d to create a duet with dancers of various ages and levels of expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2014 Sabbatical at University of Surrey, Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences, School of Arts, \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 BA Dance & Culture Programme, 15th February to 14th July, 2014. I taught the following subjects \u201cIntroducing choreography\u201d, \u201cMovement Analysis I\u201d (BA course, first years), \u201cLaban Movement Analysis and Notation\u201d, \u201cHistorical Perspectives\u201d (BA course, second years) \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u201cCreative Collaboration\u201d (BA course, third years from the \u201cDance department\u201d and \u201cFilm Studies\u201d \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u201cTheater Studies\u201d. Teaching at Guildford School of Acting (GSA), project \u201cThe Greeks\u201d, Greek Chorus. Research presentation titled \u2018Does dance matter?\u2019 Relevance of dance technique in Drama Studies\u201d, 21st May 2014, Room 29 Building AP Floor 02, University of Surrey, Guildford. The work has been published in Research in Dance Education. Routledge, Taylor & Francis, UK, 17, 3, Dec. 2016, pp. 204-217.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
